Since joining The George on Collins in January 2023, Tom’s role has been dedicated to elevating the venue’s events program. With a Melbourne hospitality journey that began in 2018, progressing from operational roles, to marketing, to ultimately discovering a passion for event management, the path has been defined by diverse, hands-on experience.

Now leading the events department at The George on Collins, more than 1,500 events are orchestrated each year, ranging from intimate corporate dinners to large-scale affairs. Tom’s management style centres on collaboration and recognising individual strengths, empowering team members by valuing their unique talents while providing clear direction.

This balanced approach of autonomy, accountability, and open communication ensures seamless execution across multiple locations, consistently transforming client visions into memorable celebrations.

Rosian joined The George on Collins in February 2023 after relocating from North Wales, beginning her journey with the team as a waitress. With a hospitality career that started in 2016, she has held a variety of roles across multiple venues, steadily progressing into management. What began as a front-of-house role has since grown into a rewarding career, and today she leads the venue and its dynamic team with pride.

Her experience spans diverse service offerings, from corporate lunches and intimate dinners to late-night experiences, bringing adaptability and energy to every shift. Rosian’s management philosophy is built on respect, transparency, and hands-on leadership. By maintaining clear communication and empowering her team, she fosters an environment where exceptional guest experiences are consistently delivered.

Alina arrived in Australia from Northern Europe in 2014 and has since worked across every facet of hospitality, from section waitress to bartender and host, gaining a comprehensive understanding of venue operations. Her passion for events led to her first Event Manager role in 2020, and over the past five years she has successfully delivered everything from corporate functions to weddings with precision and care.

Highly organised and calm under pressure, Alina is driven by the satisfaction of bringing clients’ visions to life. Her leadership style centres on fostering a supportive and positive team environment, where every member feels valued and heard. By maintaining composure in high-pressure moments, she inspires confidence and ensures every event runs seamlessly, leaving guests with exceptional experiences.
