Hens’ Function Rooms
For a late night Hens’ party at our place, there are many function rooms at The George. What will suit your special occasion?
The Cellar
Planning a cocktail gathering for up to 90 friends or a sit-down dinner for 36 or more? With two private bathrooms, a private bar, sound system, and optional projector screen, you and the girls can dance, sing karaoke, drink delicious mixes, and put on your favourite movie all in one place.
If you need time to set up decorations, The George also provides a 30 minute bump in/bump out for your booking. To request a longer bump in/ bump out, it must be approved by the George on Collins team.
Book for lunch from 12pm onwards and before 5pm, and dinner events after 530pm.
The Den
Being the second-largest private space at The George, The Den creates a private entrance, private bar and a beautiful space for a medium-sized, intimate Hens’ event! Matte black walls, curtains, and chairs are a sleek design that blend with golden-wood tables, a relaxing ambience for your friend group to wine and dine.
Book 40 people for a cocktail event or 26 for seated. Host up to 18 Hens’ guests in one long table, or split larger groups across two tables.
The Attic
Overlooking the main parlour yet also feeling tucked away, The Attic is the perfect semi-private space for the gals to hang out. Brightly lit, your girl friends can enjoy the atmosphere of the entire venue while still having space to rock out to popular tunes!
The capacity is 35 for cocktail events and 12 for seated.
The Rumpus
With purple LED lighting and an underground, retro club feel, The Rumpus is a laid-back semi-private dining or cocktail space for up to 25 patrons for cocktails and 20 for seated.
Although smaller than other function rooms, it makes up for it with its versatile uses for catch-ups, corporate lunches, or dinner and drinks.
The Parlour
Is your Hens’ party a larger crowd than anticipated? If you don’t want to compromise on style, The Parlour is the place to plan a Hens’ function!
Being the centre of The George, The Parlour is a long, New York style bar you can hire exclusively for your Hens’ get-together. Capacity is 350 for cocktails and 150 for a seated party.
If you would like to book the Full Venue for over 500 patrons, you can experience multiple bars, amenities, screens, and audio-visual equipment.

Bottomless brunch
$89 per person for 2 hours. Chef selections include 3 sharing dishes with rice and baos.
Unlimited booze includes a weekly cocktail special, Chandon Garden Spritz, Grain Shaker Pink Grapefruit Spritz, Mimosa, Sparkling Wine, Potting Shed Semi-sav Blanc, Potting Shed Shiraz, or a beer lao lager bottle.
Cocktail party
$105 per person, including 6 canapes from our menu.
Our 3-hour standard beverage package includes Sparkling Hare and Tortoise Prosecco, house white wine, house red wine, and a beer and cider selection. Add-ons are cocktails on arrival for $18 per person and substantial bites for up to $12 per person.
Sip and savour
$130 per person covers a 3-course south-east Asian banquet of 3 shared entrees, 3 shared mains, 1 side, 1 dessert, and a 3 hour standard beverage package.
Tables, glassware, linen napkins, candles, complimentary cakeage, cut, serve, plates and crockery are included.
The lux bride
$190 per person, this Hens’ package lets you choose an arrival cocktail such as a Margarita, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini, or a Grainshaker Grapefruit Spritz.
Taste a 3-course south-east asian bouquet with 4 shared entrees, 3 shared mains, 2 sides, and 1 dessert, and a 3-hour deluxe beverage package.

- Shared entrees include betel leaf, sticky mekhong lamb ribs, and tod mun pla.
- Shared mains include yellow curry, black pepper wagyu, and pork belly.
- Sides include jasmine rice, with mango and coconut bavarois for dessert.
For $85 per person
- Shared entrees include betel leaf, kingfish ceviche, sticky mekhong lamb ribs, and prawn toast.
- Shared mains include green chicken curry, sichuan chicken stir fry, and pork belly.
- Sides include roti peanut satay sauce, jasmine rice, and mango and coconut bavarois for dessert.
For $105 per person
- Shared entrees include betel leaf, tuna tartar, sticky mekhong lamb ribs, prawn toast, and burrata.
- Shared mains include green chicken curry, 300g of angus scotch fillet, pork belly, and fermented chilli and lime chicken stir fry.
- Sides include roti peanut satay sauce, jasmine rice, and silken tofu cheesecake for dessert.
